Director
James brings over 20 years of experience across all aspects of the roofing industry. Highly knowledgeable in a wide range of roofing systems, he ensures every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Known for his approachable and friendly nature, James has built strong relationships across the industry and takes pride in leading by example. His hands-on expertise, leadership, and dedication to quality make him an integral part of the company's continued success. When he's not working, you'll often find James on the rugby field, playing for Glynneath RFC.
Ross Manning
Director
Ross brings strong leadership and a dedicated work ethic to his role, shaped by his background in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers. With extensive experience in the roofing industry, he's known for his hardworking nature, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence. His disciplined approach and hands-on attitude help drive the team forward and ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
In his free time, Ross enjoys being out on the water - fishing, boating, or on his jet ski.
Elinor White
Office Manager
With over 12 years of experience in finance, Elinor is an AAT Level 3 qualified professional who brings a wealth of knowledge and organisational expertise to her role. Since joining Wales Roofing Solutions in 2021, Elinor has expanded her responsibilities to include Office Manager, overseeing the smooth day-to-day operations of the business alongside her financial duties. Elinor is known for her attention to detail, efficiency, and commitment to supporting both colleagues and clients. When she's not at the office, she enjoys walking and crafting.
Michael Powell
Site Manager
Michael is a highly valued Site Manager with over 20 years of experience in the roofing industry. Specialising in all aspects of flat roofing, he also brings extensive knowledge of all roofing types. When Michael joined the team, he helped open our Kington offices, allowing us to expand our reach and take on projects further afield.
Renowned for his expertise, reliability, and dedication to high-quality work, Michael ensures every project runs smoothly. Outside of work, he enjoys supporting his children at dance and football events.
Kevin Doherty
Project Manager
With over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, Kevin brings exceptional knowledge and leadership to his role as Project Manager. A qualified carpenter by trade, he is well known and respected for his expertise, commitment, and proven track record of successful project delivery. Kevin oversees our internal refurbishments and ensures every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. Away from work, Kevin is an avid Manchester United supporter and enjoys going on holidays.
James Sampson
Contracts Manager
With over 25 years of experience in the roofing industry, James brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. He specialises in all types of pitched roofing and takes great pride in delivering high-quality workmanship on every project. James's dedication, skill, and reliability make him a highly valued member of our team and a trusted professional within the industry. In his spare time, James enjoys walking with his family.
Bethan Parry
Social Value Coordinator
Bethan is a valued member of our team, bringing her experience as a qualified teacher to her role as Social Value Coordinator. A fluent Welsh speaker, she is passionate about community engagement and enjoys making a positive difference through her work. She also oversees our apprentices and training programmes, ensuring our team continues to grow and develop. Bethan's enthusiasm, communication skills, and commitment to social impact make her a fantastic addition to the team. Outside of work, Bethan enjoys playing netball and spending time with her family.
